Detailed Look at the 'Space Jam' Air Jordan 11 Low IE

The Air Jordan 11 has always been heralded as one of the most popular silhouettes from Michael Jordan's signature line with the "Space Jam" colorway that appeared in the 1996 cult classic film of the same name being one of the more heavily favored renditions. Its close cousin, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE, has never receiving quite the same level of praise. With this upcoming release, Jordan Brand is looking to bring some of the 11's magic to its low-top counterpart.

Thanks to @sneakercrush on Instagram, there is now an initial look at the upcoming "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 Low IE. The pair mimics the original almost identically. The Low IE's usual leather upper has been swapped out in favor of a black ballistic mesh. Leather overlays have also been replaced with black patent leather to more closely resemble the Air Jordan 11. Finishing touches include a royal blue Jumpman on the tongue, white midsole, carbon fiber shank plate, and icy outsole.

According to @zsneakerheadz, expect the "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 Low IE to hit select retailers in July 2019 for $170.

UPDATE (06/26): New images of the upcoming "Space Jam Air Jordan 11 Low IE have surfaced, courtesy of Foot Locker. The colorway is slated to hit select retailers on July 13 for $170.
