PUMA connects the dots between Brooklyn and Istanbul to deliver a travel photography-inspired collection with Les Benjamins.
For their latest round of collaborative releases, PUMA looks to the Istanbul-based luxury streetwear brand Les Benjamins, marking the first-ever collaboration between the two. Inspired by the world of travel and photography - both passions of the Les Benjamins founder Bunyamin Aydin - the collection's visual marries these pastimes to showcase a journey of discovery.
The collection is brought to life through the eyes of Brooklyn-based photographer 13th Witness, whose unexpected discovery of his Turkish roots informing the narrative of the visuals. This connection sees Western streetstyle meet Turkish tradition, offering a direct parallel to the striking nature of the collections apparel and footwear lines.
The first drop of the collaboration offers a reimagining of PUMA silhouettes through the use of a rich colour palette and traditional Turkish detailing. Taking centre stage is the RS-0, Shoka, and Trailfox all of which are constructed in black and white, while the iconic Thunder Disc goes for a brighter approach. Apparel lines include a parka, windbreaker, hoodie, and tees alongside a range of everyday accessories.
