Farrah Abraham Says Her Mental Health Has Suffered Since She Was Arrested in Los Angeles

Farrah Abraham told TMZ that she has been suicidal since she was arrested earlier this month after allegedly slapping a security guard in Los Angeles.

Farrah Abraham says her mental health has suffered since her altercation with a security guard at a Los Angeles restaurant earlier this month and subsequent arrest.

The former 16 and Pregnant star told TMZ that she’s been having suicidal thoughts following the incident, where, after allegedly slapping the guard, the man made a citizen’s arrest. She later was arrested by police and spent a night in a local jail.

“I’m trying to stay positive about it because I was really suicidal this week,” she said before starting to tear up. “I’ve just had such a hard time dealing with it. … I’ve been working so hard on myself these past two weeks since the incident. … I guess it’s like defamation when someone says you touched them and I was actually attacked. It’s just scary. It’s scary to be a woman in that position.”

She then described how she’s afraid to be in public and the pain she has on the upper right side of her body from being cuffed by the security guard, saying she hopes she doesn’t have to have surgery on her neck and shoulder. She also said she’s in physical therapy: “It is severe.”

She’s been living in LA; TMZ caught her as she was loading a truck and moving out of California.

The incident in question happened on Jan. 15, when Abraham was out with some friends at a LA restaurant. She was allegedly assaulted by another patron and says her friend called the police to report the attack. Abraham says she then left the bar and was waiting outside by herself, which is when the altercation with the security guard happened.
