English Game of Thrones actress Hannah Waddingham is making history as the first woman to portray DC's character Jax-Ur, who will appear in Syfy's upcoming series Krypton.

Jax-Ur first appeared in 1961's Adventure Comics #289 and has since been the self-described "worst criminal in the Phantom Zone." (Although the scientist manages to escape many times.) But since the debut over 50 years ago, this will technically be the first time that Jax-Ur appears on a TV series as well. The character had a small role in the film Man of Steel, and Smallville brought a similar character, Dax-Ur, on board in season 7.

Viewers will get to see the Krypton scientist working before getting imprisoned in the Phantom Zone. Krypton will be a surprisingly previously unexplored story of the planet years before (spoiler alert) it gets destroyed and Jor-El sends his son to Earth to become Superman.

Waddingham is best known for portraying Game of Thrones' Septa Unella (or you might remember her as the nun who shouts "SHAME. SHAME. SHAME" at Cersei in the show's season 5 finale.) Now Waddingham will step into the spotlight as Krypton's troublesome Jax-Ur. And the alum of Syfy's 12 Monkeys series is definitely looking forward to it.

Krypton is set to follow Superman's grandfather, Seg-El, in a 10-episode hourlong drama that's scheduled to premiere on Syfy on March 21.
