Donald Glover should not be trusted with toys.

It was a special moment when Donald Glover saw the Lego version of Lando Calrissian on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The 34-year-old is playing a young version of the Star Wars smuggler, originated by Billy Dee Williams in 1980's The Empire Strikes Back, in the upcoming film Solo. But it turns out that he's been a fan for a long time. In the new clip, Glover revealed that his first toy was a Lando figure. He also had a Darth Vader figure and admitted to biting off his lightsaber. (That's one way to stop the Empire).

Colbert brought out the tiny figure and had Glover take an excited look. But after a few seconds of Glover talking about how they got his "messed up" hairline correct, he breaks it and immediately hands it back. It seems the lightsaber-biting kid is still in there.

While at the show, Glover also gave some super secret spoiler-ly inside information about his character: he wears a cape. Gasp! He also expertly defined what it means to be an artist: "try to make something beautiful out of chaos."

When the original appearance aired on Wednesday minus the Star Wars bonus clip, Glover met the Atlanta-based Girl Scout Charity Joy Harrison, who covered his hit song "Redbone." And of course, he couldn't help himself to some thin mints and bought 113 boxes from the young Scout's stock to hand out to the audience.

Along with the upcoming Solo, Glover is a busy man. The second season of his hit series Atlanta premiered Thursday night. He's also reportedly working on another album.
