The first season of Rap Sh!t came to a close last September with a finale co-written by Singleton and Rae. That same month, Max announced the series had been renewed for a follow-up season. In a statement at the time, Sarah Aubrey, Max’s Head of Original Content, promised “even more seducing and scheming” in the show’s second year.

“We are so excited to continue this journey with Shawna and Mia and the incredibly fun world of Rap Sh!t,” Aubrey said.

Among those also working behind the scenes on the well-received series are Yung Miami and JT of City Girls, who are co-executive producers on the project.
