Happy Monday. How'd you sleep? If you were tuned in to the still-in-progress #KimExposedTaylorParty, you probably didn't even catch a wink of rest Sunday night. Kim Kardashian took to Snapchat to share video of Taylor Swift allegedly approving Kanye West's The Life of Pablo single "Famous," igniting a meme war that no mere mortal could have predicted. Somewhere in the middle of this mini-saga, Khloé Kardashian jumped in to defend the fam against Chloë Grace Moretz's attempt at inserting herself into the feud:
That defense, much to Twitter's dismay, somehow included a bare (censored below for obvious reasons) asshole:
However, according to Moretz, there's one tiny problem with that clap-back: the tweeted hole belongs to a mystery woman, i.e. not Chloë Grace Moretz:
Eeesh. Of course, any true pop historian will note that this doesn't mark the first time Moretz has publicly disagreed with the Kardashian fam. Back in March, Moretz responded to Kim Kardashian's much discussed nude selfie with some ill-received criticism. Later that same day, Kardashian hit back on Twitter with this:
The apparent revelations of Sunday night (i.e. not Khloé's taking-it-too-far asshole tweet) were a long time coming. Kim had accused Swift of lying about her knowledge of that divisive "Famous" lyric on multiple occasions, including this week's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "[It was] just another way to play the victim," Kim said on Sunday's episode. "It definitely got her a lot of attention the first time."
At the time of publication, Khloé hasn't deleted the Moretz tweet in question. She did, however, generously offer a solution to insomnia: binging on confirmed classic SpongeBob SquarePants.
Early Monday, Khloé appeared to address the backlash over the tweet. "I'm the last person to bully but have an animal instinct to protect and defend my family," she tweeted. "Refrain from commenting on my family and OUR business (and I will do the same)."
