UPDATED 7/12/23 8:15 a.m. ET: A lawyer for Jonah Hill has responded to allegations made by Alexa Nikolas.

In a statement to USA Today, attorney Marty Singer said the actress’ accusations were “a complete fabrication.” Nikolas, the lawyer also said, is a “demonstrably unreliable” source.

"It never happened," Singer told the outlet, adding that the the allegation in question is "based on a source who is demonstrably unreliable.”

Singer continued, “Your source is a serial accuser who has made assorted accusations against multiple men in the entertainment industry. That includes a claim she made for 'sexual assault' against her ex-husband that she later voluntarily withdrew after she got some media attention.”

Alexa Nikolas, an actress known for her appearance on the Nick show Zoey 101, has accused Jonah Hill of forcing himself on her when she was 16.

In a series of tweets shared last week, Nikolas detailed the circumstances of an alleged party she claims occurred at a residence owned by Justin Long. According to Nikolas, she was inspired to share these allegations publicly after reading the recent statements made by Hill’s ex, Sarah Brady.

At this party, Nikolas alleges, Hill slammed me to the door and shoved his tongue down my throat” after she asked for a cigarette.

“I was so appalled I pushed him off of me and ran inside,” she said. According to Nikolas, she was 16 at the time and Hill was 24.

Nikolas also referenced the allegations on her verified Instagram account, saying "power to survivors."

Earlier this month, Brady—Hill’s former girlfriend—took to social media with a number of screenshots and comments alleging (without directing naming him) that the actor was, in her words, a “misogynist narcissist.” She did not accuse the actor of physical violence.

Hill did not immediately address these comments.
