Fans Might Have Figured Out These Mystery 'Deadpool 2' Actors

Observant fans may have deduced the actors behind two new mutants in 'Deadpool 2.'

Thanks to some sleuthy fans, new information on two new Deadpool 2 actors may have been revealed. The sequel's recently released trailer introduced Cable, who will be played by Josh Brolin, but had viewers scratching their heads as to the identity of two other new featured characters. The trailer seems to include two new possible mutants standing beside Deadpool—Shatterstar, who can channel sonic frequencies through blades, and Chamber, a mutant who is made of psionic energy and communicates telepathically (according to his traditional Marvel lore.)

Fans have deduced that the identity of Chamber may be none other than It's very own Pennywise, Bill Skarsgård. It's a stretch to pinpoint Skarsgårdfrom one quick frame, but the guess was further supported when Deadpool actor Karan Soni liked a tweet hinting at the mutant's identity.

Looks like @DavidMLeitch is using a bunch of his ATOMIC BLONDE actors for DEADPOOL 2. @eddiemarsan was already revealed and it looks like one of the unknown mutants is indeed his co-star Bill Skarsgård.

Soni eventually un-liked the tweet, prompting even more suspicion. The pick does seem pretty plausible, though; Deadpool director David Leitch has previously worked with Skarsgård on Atomic Blonde

Rumors of Shatterstar's identity are also circulating online, and many believe that actor and amateur boxer Lewis Tan will be portraying the mutant in the upcoming sequel. Observant Marvel fanatics have noticed Tan liking tons of tweets relating to the franchise ever since the second trailer was released, solidifying their theories that he will be portraying Shatterstar.

Until any official information is released, fan theories and sneaky social media interactions are all we have to go on, but it's looking like Skarsgard and Tan have a pretty good chance of making cameos in the film. Deadpool 2 is set to release on May 18.
