Just over two weeks before the presidential election, Stephen Colbert isn't holding back on his barely disguised hatred for Donald Trump. On Friday night's episode of The Late Show, Colbert targeted Trump's family, advisers, and business ventures—all within the span of his opening monologue—and even compared the Republican presidential nominee to human waste.
The show opened with a discussion of Trump TV, the television network rumored to be in development, which had a soft launch of sorts on Trump's Facebook live feed this week. Colbert started by giving The Donald a few suggestions of potentially lucrative and on-brand shows.
"I'm excited, I'm excited. I can't wait until he introduces his other programming, like the hour-long crime drama Bad Hombres," Colbert said, referring to Trump's remarks during Wednesday's final presidential debate that many of the Mexican immigrants coming to the U.S. are "bad hombres" that smuggle drugs.
"Or, Rudy Giuliani and Chris Christie's new half-hour buddy special Bridge & Tunnel. [...] And don't forget the new children's show hosted by Eric and Donald Jr., Daniel the Tiger I Shot This Weekend. Well, that they had to cancel 'cause they only had one episode," Colbert said to a cheering audience.
"Of course, all the scandals swirling around Donald Trump have distracted us from the scandals swirling around Hillary Clinton," he added, and talked about reports that have surfaced alleging one of Clinton's campaign buses in Georgia illegally dumped sewage into a storm drain. "Jimmy, did we get the footage of the human.. I think we did, we got the footage of the human sewage coming out of the bus," Colbert says.
The screen then cut to a clip of Trump emerging from a bus in the now-infamous 2005 leaked Access Hollywood tape, in which Trump brags that he can sexually assault women because he's famous.
"Yeah, we did, I think we did," Colbert joked, barely keeping his composure as the audience cheers. "That's it, right?"
