Imagine vacationing in the Hamptons with Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence. Is that the ultimate #VacationSquadGoals or what?! Like, do they just hang out on boats and make each other laugh and eat a ton of pizza, because that sounds ideal and also how do I get in on this? Unsurprisingly, their weekend getaway photos went viral last week (and probably also inspired a lot of vacation fan fic).
The Trainwreck star stopped by The Daily Show last night and told Jon Stewart how all this came to be. What was just a casual, annual hang with her high school friends turned into an A-lister weekend when J.Law accepted an invitation to join them. "It was kind of hypothetical," Schumer says, about bringing up the idea to her in the first place. Lawrence did end up coming, joining Schumer and co. in human pyramids, on jetskis, and general vacation thrives, which made for some seriously golden photo ops.
Schumer told the Daily Show host that J.Law went all Hunger Games on her with that jet ski, before sharing a couple photos of the two that didn't end up on social media. "It's my picture next to Jennifer Lawrence's—like the last person you want to be next to," she says. "And all the pictures we took of us, I look like her coach in all of the pictures."
