Less than stellar reviews for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have left Ben Affleck a little dead insidedown in the dumps but a UK weather report might be just what the doctor ordered. Channel 5's Sian Welby put her geeky sensibilities to good use by cleverly packing a load of Batman and Superman puns into her minute-long report.
"Well, you needed X-ray vision to see through the fog in some parts this morning," she begins before adding that "sun will struggle to dent the cloud in the north Adam West." She then warned that "as the Dark Knight Rises wind, rain and cloud will be the Bane of the west." Well,that's one way to get more people interested in the weather.
Welby concluded her broadcast with aptly-timed reference to tie it all together. “If you did wonder about Easter Sunday, well, there’s no justice as we’ll have to face more unsettled conditions.” Super.
According to Mashable, the geeky weather presenter recorded an equally awesome report for Star Wars: The Force Awakens back in December. Both videos have been more well-received than the actual movie, which is dividing critics and fans alike.
