TJ Miller has made headlines again for some questionable behavior. According to the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, Silicon Valley’sElrichBachman (RIP) was arrested on Monday night at LaGuardia Airport for allegedly falsely reporting a bomb threat back in March. Kind of a big leap from slapping Uber drivers, dude.

As Variety reports, the 36-year-old actor/comedian was charged with “intentionally conveying to law enforcement false information about an explosive device on a train traveling to Connecticut.” Miller made a cameo in a New Haven court on Tuesday and was released on a $100,000 bond. If convicted, Miller would be facing up to five years in prison.

In a press release issued by authorities, Miller called the cops on March 18 in New Jersey to alert them of a woman who “has a bomb in her bag” on his Amtrak train from D.C. to New York City. Not only did a bomb squad find no evidence of explosives, but the officers who spoke with him said the actor had been drinking and couldn’t get his description of the alleged suspect straight. Oh, there’s also the fact that he had actually been traveling on an entirely different train than the one in the report—no explosives were found on that train either.

Meanwhile, an Amtrak attendant says that Miller was booted from the train in New York for being drunk. The employee also said the actor had “hostile exchanges” with a female passenger seated in the First Class car. According to the complaint, Miller’s actions were a retaliation against the woman. The whole ordeal is being investigated by the Connecticut State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, the MTA Police Department, the Amtrak Police Department, and the Westport Police Department, in case you we were wondering what your tax dollars were up to.
