Marlon Brando's Family Denies Sexual Relationship With Richard Pryor

The rumors over the late legends are still circulating.

Just in case you cared, Marlon Brando’s eldest living son, Miko Brando, insists his father did not hook up with comedy legend Richard Pryor, as Quincy Jones asserted. Brando, who’s been dead since 2004, has become quite the topic of conversation these days, since the #MeToo conversation resurfaced the allegations that Brando and director Bernardo Bertolucci plotted to sexually violate Last Tango in Paris actress Maria Schneider, to make the film’s rape scene more authentic. A video dating back to 2013 recently surfaced where the director admits that he and Brando did in fact collude to violate the actress.

Miko told TMZ of the new Pryor story, “The Marlon Brando family has heard the recent comments by Quincy Jones and we are disappointed that anyone would make such a wrongful comment about either Marlon Brando or Richard Pryor.” Mind you, the widow of the late comedian (Pryor died in 2005), Jennifer Pyror, says the sexual encounter did in fact go down. She says Pryor was always open about his bisexuality, and documented his experiences in diaries. However, Richard’s daughter, Rain Pryor, vehemently denied the affair.

Regarding the allegations about the infamous Last Tango in Paris scene, “That’s not my father, he wasn’t that man at all,” Miko told TMZ, “He was for human rights, civil rights, he marched with Martin Luther King. He was for the people not against the people.” He said the 40-year-old allegation is “not true” and “that’s not the human being he is.” He also said his late father would be “disgusted” by the allegations. Miko reasons that there must be a “motive” behind Bertolucci’s claim, telling TMZ, “maybe he needs the money.”
