Rosa Doherty, the mother of late actress Shannen Doherty, will hold the torch for her daughter on podcast Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty.

Released on Thursday (Aug. 15) was the podcast's latest episode, titled "Let's Be Clear...Continues," where Rosa Doherty explained her intention to resume the show. Affectionately known as "Mama Rosa," Doherty was joined by family friend Anne Marie Kortright.

Before the Charmed actress succumbed to her years-long battle with breast cancer, Rosa said that the podcast allowed her daughter to "tell her story and tell her truth."

"It meant so much to me because I got to watch her do this when it was so special for her, and it helped so much in everything that she was going through,” Mama Rosa continued at the show's opening.

She continued, "And to hear back from all of you and the questions that you presented to her in the podcast when she was answering questions, that was important. I just want to say thank you to everybody. And I am now going to be doing my best to try to continue this for her because that's what we discussed that she wanted me to do."

"And of course, I'm not her. I could never be her. I'm not as well-spoken as she was, but I'm here for all of you and I hope you're all here for me."

Throughout the episode, Mama Rosa and Kortright answered fan questions and revisited memorable moments during Dorherty's personal life.

At 53 years old, Dorherty died on July 13, 2024, and her publicist confirmed to People that the Beverly Hills 90210 alum “lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.
