Former reality television star Bethenny Frankel is known to weigh in on many different topics related to pop culture. Now the entrepreneur is giving her take on a fairly controversial subject… OnlyFans.
Many content creators have risen to fame and made a pretty hefty sum of money by posting on the adult platform, which is known for its explicit content.
While OnlyFans is considered controversial by many, Frankel believes that if people choose to utilize the platform, it’s really nobody else’s business.
During an episode of her Rants podcast on August 29, Frankel acknowledged that while OnlyFans might not be her kind of thing, she’s not going to judge others who use it.
“I'm not going into a cigar and pipe store. What does that mean? That they're not allowed to smoke cigars and pipes? … If you're not harming anyone else, if you're not really doing anything that's, like, extremely harmful to yourself, like, how is it my business what someone else does with their body, with their life, with their clothing?” she questioned.
Frankel went on to say this about current society, “We've just always been like this. We've always been so judgmental.”
She expressed her opinion that if someone doesn’t like OnlyFans, they simply don’t have to consume this kind of content.
“You don't have to listen. You don't have to watch. The good news is you don't have to do anything you don't want to do unless it's your job and it's at your work.”
OnlyFans, which has a subscription-based platform, has over 4 million content creators globally.
Frankel said that she believes that these kinds of content creators don’t owe anyone any kind of explanation for what they choose to do to make money.
“They don't have to apologize. They don't have to explain. They don't have to do anything,” she said.
