There's been some shake-up in the ABC-Marvel world — Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter have both been renewed for new seasons, while another Marvel series starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood's characters was picked up and then totally abandoned earlier this year. However, it looks like ABC may be picking it up again — in a series based on Palicki's character, Mockingbird.

Variety reports that the series, which will be titled Marvel's Most Wanted, will focus on Mockingbird (a.k.a Bobbi Morse). Blood will also appear in the series after all, as his character Lance Hunter. According to Variety, they will "topline the pilot and prospective series."

But don't call it a comeback — or a spin-off, either — insiders tell Variety that the series isn't really about S.H.I.E.L.D, it's an "entirely new project solely focused" on these two characters. No plot details are really known at this point, so there will be a lot of this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ until the series premieres.

Although this would make three — count 'em, three — Marvel-centric shows on ABC, Variety notes that the two collaborators can't get enough of each other, citing another Marvel show (the super secret American Crime) that's currently in the works. Again, mum's the word for now, so we'll be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ until the network decides to release more info.
