Sibling rivalry is inevitable, and Kourtney and Kim Kardashian are prime examples of that.
For years, the two sisters’ biggest feuds have been documented on their reality shows Keeping Up With the Kardashians and The Kardashians. Their arguments were captured on the show, and range from typical sister fights about stealing each other’s clothes to violence. As KUWTK viewers might recall, some of Kim and Kourtney’s most notable disagreements include Kim saying Kourtney was “the least exciting to look at,” their Candyland-themed party fight, and when they actually got into a physical altercation in Season 18.
They appeared to be on good terms earlier this year, until eagle-eyed fans noticed that the sisters’ body language was off in Kourtney and Travis Barker’s Til Death Do Us Part wedding special, which premiered on Hulu in April.
And then suddenly, it made sense. Season 3 of The Kardashians heavily followed the pair's most recent disagreement in which Kourtney accused Kim of using her Italy wedding as a “business opportunity.” Kim later apologized to Kourtney, but not before delivering a heated confession claiming that Kourtney actually copied her wedding.
Now, their feud is reheating with Kim revealing a "Not Kourtney" group chat in The Kardashian's Season 4 premiere, leading to an explosive fight between the sisters and yet another round of discourse online.
Sisters fighting is a part of life, but sometimes, like in the Kardashians' case, it can go too far. Episode: KUWTK, Season 15 Episode 1, “Photo Shoot Dispute”
Kim instantly became frustrated with a scheduling conflict surrounding the family’s annual Christmas card. Kourtney argued that she wanted to be back home at a certain time with her kids in order to participate. However, Kim had a business meeting that conflicted with the schedule. “No one wants you in the fucking shoot,” Kim said to Kourtney. “Get the fuck out of here and go! No one wants you in the fucking shoot! I’m planning it. So we don’t want you in the shoot!”
After Kourtney suggested that Kim should reschedule her meeting to work around her schedule, Kim then once again Kim snapped at her sister: “Maybe if you had a business that you were passionate about then you would know what it takes to run a fucking business. But you don’t, so don’t even act like you know what I’m talking about.”
Kourtney then left the room after saying she wouldn’t participate in their family’s annual event. Kim said she was unbothered by it. “I need Kourtney to not be so fucking annoying with a stick up her ass like she runs this shit because she doesn’t,” Kim said. “She is the least exciting to look at.”
The feud didn’t end there. Kourtney said she’s “not here to be mistreated by my fucking bitch family” while on the phone with Khloé. “You guys just have really different values than me. I choose to be a mother to my three kids. I’m not here looking for another job. I already work enough—more than I would like to.”
Kim ended up rescheduling her meeting to work around Kourtney’s schedule after issuing an apology for her “low blow” comment.

Khloé decided to still call Kim on FaceTime, saying: “She wants me to call Kendall [Jenner] because she doesn’t care about you and I.” Kim then snapped back, suggesting that Kourtney wears designer clothing that she’s worn in the past. “Well, if she doesn’t care, why do you keep on picking out all the same clothes?”
“I don’t think Kourtney understands the legwork behind this,” Kim said in a confessional. “I don’t think anybody understands. You have to really have a relationship with that designer. She has no idea how this works.”
Kourtney then defended her stylist Danielle, who sometimes pulled looks from designers that Kim has previously worked with. “I’m not trying to copy your styles. But on the same designer, you can’t ban me from [them],” Kourtney said to Kim.

Episode: KUWTK Season 17, Episode 9, “Hard Candy”
Kim and Kourtney decided to throw their daughters North and Penelope a joint Candyland-themed birthday party, but they couldn’t agree on how many sweets should be served at the event. Kourtney, who advocates for an organic and healthy diet, wanted to ensure that there were healthier options for the children.
“It’s Candyland, Kourtney, it’s not going to be healthy,” Kim said. Kourtney then responded, “I’m saying let’s not do the nasty stuff with food coloring and all gross shit.”
Kourtney added that hosting a candy-filled party goes against her brand. That statement immediately riled Kim up and she said: “Then why does your car have leather seats? Why are you wearing plastic glasses?”
After their heated argument, Kim threatened to back out of their plans altogether. But the two sisters put their differences aside in the end and hosted the candy-filled party. Toward the end of the episode, Kim actually sided with Kourt and said there were too many sweets at the festivity.

Episode: KUWTK Season 18, Episode 2, “Fights, Friendships and Fashion Week Pt. 1”
Sisters Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, and Kendall Jenner were chit-chatting when the conversation about work ethic was brought up. Kim said she and Khloé are the only sisters that will not turn down a work obligation regardless of what is going on in their lives. And while Kendall also took offense to the remark, Kourtney was furious. “You act like I don’t do shit,” Kourtney said. “You have this narrative in your mind. I will literally fuck you up if you mention it again. Literally, shut the fuck up! Change the narrative in your mind! I work my fucking ass off.”
She continued before throwing a water bottle at Kim: “But also, if I didn't want to work my ass off, and I did want to be a stay-at-home mom, that's fucking fine, you literal fucking cunt.”
Kim then lunged at Kourtney and the most physical fight that has been documented between the sisters went down. Kourtney slapped Kim so hard that there appeared to be a makeup stain on the wall from Kim’s face. After Khloé broke up the fight, the two sisters took some time apart before apologizing to each other off-camera.
During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March 2020, Kim told Fallon that she resorted to violence after noticing a scratch from Kourtney. “I don’t really ever resort to violence like that but she scratched me so hard, which you guys didn’t see,” Kim said. “I was bleeding. You didn’t really get to see that detail, but when I looked down at my arm and saw she had really scratched me and felt it all in my back, I just, you know, went over and slapped her back.”

Kim and Kourtney didn’t see eye to eye about their family nanny. This stemmed from an argument Kourtney had with the unnamed staff member. "Kim's nanny and I had a little disagreement when we were away traveling together," Kourtney said in a confessional. Kim added that the nanny felt “degraded” by Kourtney. Kourtney explained that the nanny told her then-6-year-old son Reign that he “would go to jail” if he spoke in the car. Kim described the humiliation her nanny felt being scolded in front of the child.
"It should have been in private," Kim replied. "She said [she] wish[ed] you would've tapped [her] on the shoulder and said, 'Hey, something's really bothering me. Can I talk to you?' and [you] could have talked in private."
Despite Kourtney’s argument with the nanny, Kim asserted that she had no intentions of firing her. "Yeah, if you think she works for you, that's totally fine,” Kourtney insisted. “She would never work for me with the way she acts. That's totally your choice."
Kim then clapped back, saying Kourtney has a history of not keeping a nanny for a long period of time. "Kim, shut the fuck up, honestly,” Kourtney said. “The way you're talking is wild.”
Kourtney then emotionally walked away from the conversation, questioning Kim’s character. "You want to portray me in this way that's not even true?" Kourtney told Khloé about Kim. "It's just bizarre. I can't be around that energy right now."

Kim was accused of shading Kourtney after she shared an Instagram photo in April 2023 of herself officiating her hairstylist Chris Appleton and Lukas Gage’s Las Vegas wedding. “There’s no one I would have officiated a rock n roll Vegas wedding for other than @chrisappleton1 and @lukasgage,” Kim wrote as the caption.
Prior to their wedding celebration in Italy, Kourtney and Travis tied the knot in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony in 2022. Fans believed Kim was taking a dig at them with her caption. After seemingly catching wind of the backlash, Kim edited her caption to say: “I was so honored to be able to officiate a wedding in Vegas!!! While the drama seemed to blow over with Kourtney and Kim having a half-hearted apology talk in Season 3, things only continued to escalate in Season 4’s premiere episode where the sisters got into another heated argument over the phone. Apparently, while rewatching Season 3’s edits, the sisters’ resentment resurfaced thanks to all the shady side chats and quips neither had seen before.
The result was an explosive conversation between the two, where Kim questioned Kourtney’s happiness and shared that their family and friends have a “Not Kourtney” group chat to essentially talk shit about her. Kourtney retaliated by saying that Kim wasn’t happy for her at her wedding, and ended the conversation with “You’re a witch and I hate you.”
