As we close in on the third annual ComplexCon, more details on what attendees will get to experience arrive, including the lineup for this year's ComplexCon(versations) series.
Among the big names participating is Virgil Abloh. The lauded fashion designer is set to host a special keynote session which will feature a number of hand-selected young designers for a conversation that focuses on inspiration and keys to succeeding in the industry.
The Sneaker of the Year panel returns with Sneaker Shopping's Joe La Puma handling moderator duties. Wale and DJ Clark Kent are back for a third year in a row to argue about the hottest sneakers that dropped; the panel is rounded out by Lena Waithe, Don C, and Full Size Run's new co-host Trinidad James.
Issa Rae, Karena Evans, Everyday Struggle co-host Nadeska Alexis, and Waithe will take center stage for Women Behind the Lens, a panel that will dive into how these female creatives navigate the entertainment industry with tips for the next generation. The panel will be moderated by Jemele Hill.
Other panels this year include Women & Streetwear (moderated by Complex's Karizza Sanchez), The Enduring Legacy of Belly (Hype Williams, Nas, Steve Stoute, T-Boz), and How to Make It in America (Gary Vaynerchuk).
