Robert De Niro has welcomed his seventh child.

According to TMZ, the 79-year-old actor confirmed the news in a recent interview with ET Canada, correcting host Brittnee Blair when she asked about his six kids.

"Seven actually ... I just had a baby,” he said.

While De Niro didn’t reveal the mother’s identity or the baby’s gender, Page Six reports that the mother could very well be his rumored girlfriend Tiffany Chen, who was sporting a baby bump during a dinner date in April.

The pair were first connected in 2021, after hee met the New York-based martial arts instructor on the set of the 2015 movie The Intern.

De Niro first entered fatherhood in 1971 when he adopted his first wife, Diahnne Abbott’s daughter, Drena, who is now 51. He then welcomed 46-year-old Raphael with Abbott. De Niro later had twin sons, Aaron and Julian, now 27, with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith, and then 25-year-old Elliot and 11-year-old Helen with ex-wife Grace Hightower. The couple divorced in 2018 after being married for over 20 years.

During his conversation with ET Canada, De Niro confessed that he isn’t a “cool dad.” He said that though his kids are “respectful,” they do “disagree” him him and “give [him] grief sometimes.”

The actor’s next film is About My Father, which is slated for a May 26 release date. It tells the story of a man and his father who inadvertently deepen their bond after spending a weekend with the man’s fiancée’s wealthy and eccentric family.
