Tom Cruise is reportedly “extremely interested” in pursuing a romance with Shakira, after they were spotted hanging out at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami over the weekend.
Sources told Page Six that there’s “chemistry” between the two, who are both single. “He is extremely interested in pursuing her,” the source told the outlet. “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom,” added the source, who called Cruise “a nice-looking guy” and “talented.” They also noted that she’s not taller than Cruise, who is 5-foot-7.
Following their meeting at the Grand Prix in Miami, Cruise allegedly sent the Colombian singer flowers. A video appeared to show the two of them talking during the event, too.
Shakira called it quits with her ex-husband, soccer player Gerard Piqué, in 2022 after 11 years together. Shakira alluded that Piqué had cheated on her in her song “Monotonía.”
Cruise, meanwhile, hasn’t been romantically linked with anyone since he was rumored to be dating his Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning co-star Hayley Atwell, per the British tabloid The Sun. Prior to that he was married to Katie Holmes, who he divorced in 2012.
