It might seem like a strange pairing, but Brad Pitt and Kanye West are friends. The 55-year-old actor stopped by Ye's latest Sunday Service in Los Angeles, resulting in a picture of the two hanging out that went viral. But as People reports, sources close to both of them have indicated that this is a friendship that's been going on for longer than fans of either of them have known.

"Kanye and Brad have been friendly for a while," an unnamed source told People. "There's definitely a common respect between the two of them. Kanye has always been a big fan of Brad." On his Yeezus outro track "Bound 2," Yeezy famously rapped, "Leave a pretty girl sad reputation / Start a Fight Club, Brad reputation."

While Kanye has regrettably backed Donald Trump recently, Pitt certainly hasn't. The actor has been critical of the President numerous times, and in 2016 he said, "What does he even mean, take our country back? Would someone please explain that to me? Where'd it go?" Obviously the two have differing political beliefs, which explains why they reportedly bonded over fatherhood.

"They talk about their differences and are extremely respectful when they do," the source continued. "They have fatherhood in common, and to Kanye, that’s huge. Kanye will talk to anyone who has kids. He’s constantly seeking advice, giving advice, comparing notes."

Pitt has six children; Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. West and Kim Kardashian, meanwhile, are parents to North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. In other recent Kanye news, the 42-year-old recently updated his website to feature the same tracklist Kim K shared on social media that indicated a new record is on the way.
