The cast of Harry Potter will forever be bonded, and the latest trailer for HBO Max’s Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts proves just that.

In the new footage from the upcoming reunion special, stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and more reflect on the impact the franchise has had on them, and the bond they share as a result of it.

The trailer starts with notable cast members walking around various iconic sets, with Radcliffe excitedly sharing some voice over before Watson gives fellow co-star Tom Felton a seemingly long-overdue hug inside Hogwarts. Other memorable faces can be seen chatting with each other and reminiscing.

“The thing that scared me the most was the implication that the most meaningful thing in our life was done,” Radcliffe says. “And there’s something so joyus about seeing everyone and being like, ‘It wasn’t, though.’”

Later in the trailer, Grint opens up to Watson about watching her grow up in real time, and seeing “every stage” of her life, revealing that they’ll “always have” a strong bond with each other.

“We’re family,” Grint says, “And we’ll always be part of each other’s life.”

The Potter reunion was first announced back in November, with a December teaser offering a first real look at Robbie Coltrane, Matthew Lewis, and more, preparing to make their way back to the rest of their magic crew. The special will also feature Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, James and Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Evanna Lynch, and director Chris Columbus, with author JK Rowling absent from the get-together.

“There’s magic in the air here with this incredible cast, as they all return home to the original sets of Hogwarts, where they began 20 years ago,” executive producer Casey Patterson previously said about the reunion. “The excitement is palpable as they prepare to take their fans on a very special and personal journey, through the making of these incredible films.”
