Better Call Saul has been renewed for one more season by AMC, Deadline reports.

The sixth and final season of the Breaking Bad spinoff is scheduled to go into production in 2020 and air sometime in 2021. The announcement about the final season was relayed at the Winter TCA press tour's Better Call Saul panel.

"From day one of Better Call Saul my dream was to tell the complete story of our complicated and compromised hero, Jimmy McGill – now AMC and Sony are making that dream come true," Better Call Saul showrunner and executive producer Peter Gould said.  "We couldn’t be more grateful to the fans and critics who are making this journey possible.  Next month we start work on the sixth and final season — we’re going to do our damnedest to stick the landing."

The president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios, Sarah Barnett, said it "has been an absolute joy to collaborate with the extraordinarily talented team on Better Call Saul, which – five seasons in – continues to deliver some of the best storytelling and most beautifully nuanced performances on television today."

The fifth season of Better Call Saul will premiere on Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET. The second episode of the season will then air on the following night. Prior to that, El Camino: A Breaking Bad will make its television debut on AMC on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET

That's right folks, Season 6 will be the final season of #BetterCallSaul. But don't worry... Season 5 is coming in hot for a special two-night event 2.23 and 2.24. #TCA20
