Netflix is promising "a metric fuck-load of dynamite" with its upcoming movie 6 Underground, and that's a direct quote. Watch the three-minute trailer above.

Ryan Reynolds leads a cast that also includes Mélanie Laurent, Ben Hardy, Dave Franco, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, and Corey Hawkins. Michael Bay, perhaps best known for cinematically capturing untold amounts of explosions, directs from a script by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Wernick and Reese, of course, are the minds behind Zombieland, Deadpool, and Deadpool 2. The writing team will again link with Reynolds for the upcoming Clue revival.

6 Underground, which does indeed carry the same title as a Sneaker Pimps song, focuses on a vigilante group comprised of six individuals who have been "chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future," the official synopsis reads. See how that all shakes out once the film hits Netflix Dec. 13. An alternate title for the film, at least according to a surely serious Reynolds statement, is/was How Michael Bay Stopped Worrying and Learned To Love Explosions More.

Reynolds is also soon joining Will Ferrell in a re-imagining of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. As of earlier this month, multiple studios were said to be vying for the project.
