Axelrod is best known for his work as a voice actor. It was his work as the voices of Wizardmon for Digimon and Lord Zedd and Finster from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that helped make him a cultural staple. Losing such a pivotal piece of their childhood drove fans to Twitter where they eulogized Axelrod.
