People Lost It Over Uno's Twitter Trying to Clarify an Uno Rule

Uno must not understand the concept of house rules.

Girls play the card game UNO.

It's cute and all that Uno wants to tell us how to play its little game, but just stick to supplying us with the cards, and we'll handle the rest. On Saturday, Uno decided to deliver a PSA about stacking after answering a few questions about this matter the day before.

If someone puts down a +4 card, you must draw 4 and your turn is skipped. You can’t put down a +2 to make the next person Draw 6. We know you’ve tried it. #UNO pic.twitter.com/wOegca4r0h

This rule "clarification" didn't sit well with pretty much everyone, who called out Uno for its own rules in their own game.

Wow Uno don’t even know how to Uno https://t.co/atxWW6Ljnq

Dear Uno,

That’s not even how Uno is played.

I love how folks were arguing with Uno about how to play Uno. A game they created.

If I supply the deck of Uno cards we playing by my rules. Which means you can put a draw 2 on a draw 4 and vice versa. Tuh https://t.co/Rqw0IpBI0u

But instead of debating with Uno's Twitter about their own so-called rules, people assumed the stance of "my house, my rules" to explain why stacking would be allowed.

NOT IN THIS HOUSE.

Malarkey and balderdash. You slap those +4 +2 combos down until your opponent is drowning in cards. Maniacal laughter is also a must. Uno isn’t for the weak. https://t.co/HE5CZwMTvg

This is a completely valid move and the only sure way to assert your dominance at the table.

The newly created @realblackUNO account also defended the legal yet heinous move.

Since Twitter is preoccupied with this stacking rule, we will shelve this other pressing Uno-related issue for another day.
