The popularJohn Wick franchise will comeback with horseback shootouts in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, which arrives May 17. There'll be more John Wick adventures lasting into the next decade if you let co-star Ian McShane tell it.

"Probably in 10 years, John Wick would still be going," McShane said in an interview with Collider. "You never know, Keanu might be running the [Continental] hotel and everything by then."

McShane feels this way because of the main character's veiled backstory. He thinks that the more fans learn about Wick's psyche, the more invested they will become in his adventures. The true test of McShane's theory will be the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, which he says will be a peek into Wick's world.

"John Wick, the world of John Wick is being explored in the next one. That will be more about the High Table, you find out more about him, his background, whatever," McShane shared. "Preparing for who knows what the hell will happen next time. It gets bigger. I think you'll enjoy that too."

The "bigger" things McShane is alluding to could be the upcoming John Wick television series. Last JulyStarz president Carmi Zlotnick announced that a show focused on the the movie's deadly Continental Hotel will hit production this year. The series will be produced by Keanu Reeves.
