After gaining some early buzz at SXSW, Lionsgate has unveiled the red band trailer for Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron's unlikely couple romantic comedy, Long Shot. The newly released trailer takes full advantage of the movie's R-rating, showcasing some of the more raunchy humor that fans can expect from the film.

Long Shot follows Seth Rogen's Fred Flarsky as he starts working with his former babysitter, Charlotte Field (Theron), who just happens to be running for president. They eventually become romantically involved despite the fact that she's totally out of his league. The movie also stars O'Shea Jackson Jr., Bob Odenkirk, Andy Serkis, Ravi Patel, and June Diane Raphael among others.

Long Shot won't hit theaters until May 3, but early reviews out of Austin suggest that Lionsgate has a winner on its hands, with critics praising both Theron and Rogen's performances and chemistry. It's currently sitting at 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Rogen is set to have a very busy year, with Long Shot kicking off a trio of films he's set to appear in. He'll be showing up as Pumbaa in Disney's live-action Lion King later this year, and is also set to appear in James Franco's long-delayed Zeroville. Meanwhile, he's also producing the comedy Good Boys and will appear in Jordan Peele's highly anticipated The Twilight Zone reboot.
