Last week, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Tommie Lee confirmed that she would not be appearing in the VH1 series anymore. "I love my old job but I no longer work with them," she wrote on Instagram, as Atlanta Black Star points out. Now TMZ is reporting that the former reality star has been indicted on numerous counts of child abuse.

In the indictment filed by the state of Georgia, Lee allegedly attacked her daughter in October 2018. Lee is said to have slapped her numerous times before and dragging her out of her middle school classroom by the hair, eventually throwing her into a locker. The indictment states Lee is facing seven charges, with three of them felonies. The other four are misdemeanors, but if convicted of all seven charges, she could be facing up to 54 years behind bars.

As TMZ notes, Lee has experienced a number of legal issues throughout the past few years, all while continuing to appear on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. It's unclear if this indictment has anything to do with her decision to leave the show, but considering the charges against her, it seems unlikely that she'll be returning anytime soon.
