Wakanda nonsense is this?

Sunday's Golden Globes were kind of puzzling. Sure, Sandra Oh made history several times over, and looked incredible while doing it. Yes, Regina King to a home a much deserved award for If Beale Street Could Talk. Even Idris Elba was there! But aside from those highlights, and the love for Roma and Satan, a lot of people were left feeling perplexed. Crowd pleasers like Crazy Rich Asians and Black Panther left empty-handed, and fans of the groundbreaking Marvel film are outraged.

Black Panther was nominated in three major categories for Best Picture Drama, Best Original Score, and Best Original Song for "All the Stars" by Kendrick Lamar and SZA. And even though it was a long shot in all three categories, a little recognition for one of the most significant cultural events of the last few years would've been nice.

But it wasn't all bad for the Wakanda alum. Stars Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, and Danai Gurira all looked good af, and we got some steamy Black Panther 2 content out of the evening:

The Oscars are on February 24, and we can only hope that Ryan Coogler and the rest of the gang finally get the recognition they deserve. For now, check out the reaction to the Black Panther snubs below.
