"The Battle of Starcourt" title seems to suggest it's possible that all roads could lead to the Starcourt Mall at the conclusion of season three.

Season three of Stranger Things is slated to debut in 2019, but there has been a noticeable bit of delay in comparison to the year-by-year release to which fans had grown accustomed. Netflix Vice President of Original Content Cindy Holland addressed the delay, stating that The Duffer Brothers, the minds behind the Emmy-winning series, are simply handling the show with the care and attention it deserves.

"Well, it’s a hand-crafted show," Holland said. "You know, the Duffer brothers and Shawn Levy have worked really hard and they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. And so, they really want to take the time to get it right. I think it’s gonna be a fantastic season, it’s gonna be worth the wait."
