Jimmy Kimmel Live! has relocated to Brooklyn, New York City for the week, and has been celebrating the occasion with some very NYC segments. On last night's (Oct. 18) episode, Tom Holland dropped by with a surprise appearance, debuting his new Spider-Man suit ahead of the release of the next solo Spidey film that's due in July of next year.

During the surprise segment, Guillermo ran onstage with Spider-Man's mask on his head, before being chased by Holland wearing a traffic cone. "Give me back my mask," Holland demanded while remaining in character. Kimmel asked if he's filming a new movie, at which point he teases Spider-Man: Far From Home. Of course, knowing Spidey's fate at the end of Infinity War, Kimmel jokingly asks, "Is this a prequel?"

On Oct. 17, Holland posted a picture of him and co-star Zendaya, confirming that production on Far From Home had wrapped.

Before we see Spider-Man in his second solo film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans will get to see what happened to him and pretty much the rest of the MCU following the end of Infinity War in the currently untitled Avengers film due May 3.

The next film in the MCU is the Brie Larson-starring Captain Marvel, which arrives just before the next Avengers film on March 8.
