As part of the inaugural California Vibrations festival in Long Beach, California, five of Bob Marley’s sons will take the stage in honor of the late reggae singer’s 77th birthday.

The Marley Brothers, including Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, Julian and Ky-Mani, will be joined by Wu-Tang Clan, who’ll stop by and give a special performance on Sunday evening. The three-day festival will also feature performances from Sean Paul, Shaggy, Atmosphere, and Sublime with Rome. The festival, which is being organized by Coachella’s Goldenvoice, is meant to highlight and exclusively feature California-based acts. It’s set to unfold February 4-6 at Marina Green Park.

News of this inaugural festival comes after Coachella was pushed back for the third consecutive time this past April. The delay was once again due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which had delayed and then ultimately canceled Coachella 2020 as well. The festival announced its 2022 dates over the summer but has yet to unveil its lineup.

The 2021 version was set to include performances from Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, among others. Ocean is reportedly set to headline the 2023 iteration.

“Right now, it’s the Wild West,” Coachella’s co-founder Paul Tollet said about the current state of the festival. “I’m just trying to be as fair as I can to artists and to the fans to make sure that eventually they get to see everyone that we talked about.”
