Nolan Riddle was enlisted to direct the official video for “Save Me, Please,” the premiere for which is also set for Friday. The First Draft cover, notably, was also done by Riddle, whose prior credits include work for Juice WRLD and the Kid Laroi, among others.

Earlier this month, Trippie appeared on an episode of Complex Brackets with host Brian “B.Dot” Miller, resulting in a discussion about what he considers to be the best anime series.

“When I was a kid, my mom used to try and make me turn off the TV,” Trippie said when asked to reflect on when he first fell in love with anime. “I kept it on and it had this shit called, like, Toonami on the Adult Swim shit.”

In fact, Trippie’s love for the art form extends to an upcoming project of his own, which he recently revealed will include contributions from Carl Jones.

“I’m actually working on scripts, you know, putting them together already” Trippie said, as seen in the video above. “Animes, movies, all that. I’m doing all that.” One such project, Trippie further teased, will feature a character he described as “a parallel universe me.”
