The man accused of shooting and killing Takeoff has been released from jail after posting bond.

As reported by KHOU and other regional Houston outlets, 33-year-old Patrick Clark was released from the Harris County Jail on Wednesday, notably less than a month after a judge denied his request for a lowered bond amount. Per court documents viewed by Complex, Clark posted bond in the amount of $1 million on Wednesday and is next set to appear in court in early March.

Complex has reached out to the Harris County District Clerk’s office for additional comment. This story may be updated.

On Dec. 27, per publicly available court documents, an amended order regarding bail conditions showed that Clark would be required to “comply with GPS monitoring” from a bail bonds service in Houston “with the capability of notifying the court, law enforcement, Harris County Pretrial Services, defense counsel, and the Harris County District Attorney’s office immediately upon any potential violation, including but not limited to device tampering, failure to properly charge the device, or house arrest violations.”

The same amended order also mentioned 24/7 house arrest, as well as previously cited conditions including surrendering of passports and related documents.

On Wednesday evening, Quavo shared a new tribute track in Takeoff’s honor titled “Without You.” The Migos member, 28, was fatally shot outside a bowling alley in the Houston area on Nov. 1 of last year. The following month, Clark was announced to have been arrested by the Houston Police Department and charged with murder. He later claimed his innocence in court.
