After they brought the track to Saturday Night LivePost Malone shared the slick video for “Cooped Up” featuring a guest appearance from Roddy Ricch.

The stylish clip, directed by Andre Bato, features Post and Roddy in an extravagant apartment without any walls or a ceiling. The song, which Post debuted just days before his SNL performance, is taken from his highly-anticipated new album Twelve Carat Toothache, set to arrive on June 3.

The Grammy-nominated artist hit up Studio 8H for SNL last week as the musical guest on the Selena Gomez-hosted episode. He kicked things off with a smooth performance of “Cooped Up” with Roddy Ricch present, and then returned later to debut his new song with Fleet Foxes, “Love/Hate Letter to Alcohol.”

He also showed up in the pre-taped sketch “Intuition,” in which Gomez and cast member Chris Redd played a couple with jealous intuitions. In the segment, Gomez had a devil on her shoulder played by Punkie Johnson, who antagonized her into believing her boyfriend is cheating. Then it was Redd’s turn to get jealous, with Post playing his jealous intuition who suggests she’s getting “dude nudes” from LeBron James.

Earlier this month, Post announced that he and his longtime girlfriend are expecting their first child together. "I’m excited for this next chapter in my life. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for [as long as] I could remember I was sad," said Post. "Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
