Polo G continues to reap the benefits of his success.

The 22-year-old Chicago rapper took to Instagram on Friday to share an inside look of a new home he purchased for his grandma.

“I finally just closed on buyin my granny a house,” he captioned a short clip of the crib. “When I was a lil boy I used to tell her I was gone get rich & make it happen when I grow up. I used to think I was gone do it from hoopin or sum. Who woulda thought bad ass Lil man man was gone b a rapper lol….this shit hit different tho.”

It isn’t the first home Polo G has gifted to a family member this year. Back in February, he bought his mother a new house in Atlanta.

“As my son @polo.capalot embarked on his career, as a professional recording artist, he promised he’d Create a life for our family free of struggle and/or lack,” Polo G’s mom, Stacia Mac, wrote in an Instagram post. “I decided to relocate to ATL in September 2020. Today my son purchased my dream home!”

Mac continued, “I showed him the home and he didn’t flinch. His response was ‘what you need?’ To say I’m appreciative is an understatement. Thank you son! Thank you for being a man of your word. Thank you for giving me things, that at times, I was unable to provide you or myself. I love you and I’m eternally grateful.”

Polo G’s latest purchase comes just four days after he was arrested in Los Angeles after police allegedly found two loaded firearms on the Hall of Fame rapper during a traffic stop. Polo G was released on Tuesday on $35,000 bond, and is slated to be back in court for the case on Jan. 6, 2022, Billboard reports.
