Nas is likely to score another top-10 record.

According to projections shared by HitsDailyDouble, the rapper’s King’s Disease III album is expected to debut at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, with approximately 30,000 units earned in its first week. For comparison, Nas’ previous project, Magic, debuted at No. 27 with 22,000 units, while 2021’s King’s Disease II took the No. 2 with 47,000 units.

KD3 marks the fourth consecutive Nas album to be executive produced by Hit-Boy. The project delivered 17 tracks (including a bonus cut) and had zero guest appearances. Hit-Boy addressed the decision to go featureless in an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Review.

“Honestly, it was once we got deeper into the album because I definitely was thinking and conceptualizing on who could be a part of it,” he told the hosts. “I even pulled up some features that I had in my computer from different artists and we tried stuff, but nothing really connected on a level of what we was doing solo. This is, I believe, Nas’ first album ever with no features so that’s an ill thing in itself.”
