Megan Thee Stallion is the first Black woman to ever grace the cover of Forbes 30 Under 30 issue.

According to the business publication, the 27-year-old mogul brought in an impressive $13 million in 2022 through royalties, ticket sales, merch, and endorsements.

“I can’t slow down right now,” Megan said of her success so far. “I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something. When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”

“It’s really hard to be the first something in 2022,” she noted in her video interview with Forbes. “I want to be bigger than just my music. I want people to know Megan as everything that she ever wanted to be. Megan the artist. I feel I’ve always liked to dabble and dab in a lot of different things, and I feel like I got that from my mom and my dad. My dad was a street guy, he was an entrepreneur, he had his own clothing line. My mother, I watched her go to work nine-to-five every day, and come home and write songs. And take me to the studio, and be a mom, and be just a good woman in general.”

The magazine noted that the Traumazine MC has deals with Nike, Popeyes, Revlon, Cash App, Netflix, and Time Inc., which is “paying her $3 million to produce a documentary on her life.”

Meg opened up in the interview about her many aspirations, and said it’s become abundantly clear she’s “not one-dimensional” now that she’s getting into acting. She recently completed filming on the A24 film Fucking Identical Twins, and boasted cameo appearances this year on P-Valley as her alter-ego Tina Snow, and as herself on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Megan Thee Stallion also revealed that she still hasn’t made a “stupid, crazy purchase” despite her huge success. “My jewelry is expensive and my house was expensive, but like outside of that, I’m not buying 100 cars,” she added. “As soon as I started getting money, I spent it on school. Then when I got done paying for school, then that’s when I started buying chains and stuff like that. But you should learn about how to make your money work for you, I feel like that was important for me to share.”
