With his new Travis Barker-assisted album 'Born With Horns' set to arrive later this year, MGK gives fans a cover of a classic Frank Ocean song.

Frank Ocean’s “Swim Good,” a still-beloved 2011 mixtape highlight, has been reimagined as a Machine Gun Kelly ballad.

On Wednesday, the Born With Horns artist shared a cover of the Frank cut. MGK’s rendition features production from Slim XX, Baze XX, and Omer Fedi. Catch a video for the MGK-ified “Swim Good” up top, complete with the addition of new lyrics. And revisit the original below.

MGK’s most recent studio album is 2020’s Travis Barker-backed Tickets to My Downfall, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Born With Horns, meanwhile, is expected to arrive at some point later this year. Seemingly, a new era for MGK was initiated with last August’s release of “Papercuts,” a song that was later brought to the stage for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards with Barker.

2023 Coachella headliner Frank Ocean last year launched his independent luxury company Homer, which has since collaborated with Prada. In December, Ocean previewed new music as part of a special Christmas-timed episode of Blonded Radio on Apple Music.

But the current focus for Frank, at least publicly, remains Homer.
