Lil Durk has hired his fake doppelgänger Shmurkio to star in his upcoming music video, mere weeks after his double went viral for posing as the OTF head at a Florida shopping mall.

A post shared to Durk’s Instagram on Tuesday shows Shmurkio, also known as Perkio, getting a drink busted over his head in slow motion by a disgruntled woman.

“PERKIO shooting block list with the real Jerry,” Durk wrote with multiple laughing emoji’s in the caption. “This might be the biggest ish 2022.”

“Blocklist” comes from Durk’s 7220 album, released last month.

Lil Baby expressed his support in the comments by writing, “Perkio is crazzzzyyyy.”

Shmurkio’s starring role comes after fans of the rapper flooded a shopping mall in Florida to pose with who they were led to believe was Lil Durk. In a 15-minute video, filmmaker King Cid pulled out all the stops to convince fans Shmurkio was the real deal. They rented a Lamborghini, a security team, hired fake paparazzi, and even copied Durk's tattoos. Hilarity ensued as hundreds of fans cheered on Shmurkio and posed with him for tons of photos.

“Blocklist” will be the ninth single off 7220 to get the visual treatment. Lil Durk just dropped off the video for “What Happened to Virgil” on Tuesday, directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett. The album was released on March 11 and features appearances from Future, Gunna, Summer Walker, and Morgan Wallen.
