Kid Cudi has offered fans a preview of his highly-anticipated upcoming album Entergalactic with his new song, “Do What I Want.”

The actor and musician announced the track was dropping earlier this week on social media, where he teased how the track came together. “’Do What I Want’ was the first song I did w Day Trip and I locked in w them heavy shortly after to make MOTM3,” he shared in a tweet. “Im really happy ull finally get to hear it.”

Produced by Take a Daytrip, best known for producing for Lil Nas X and Cudi on his album Man on the Moon III, the track follows the release of his Sonic the Hedgehog 2 soundtrack contribution, “Stars in the Sky.” Assumedly this is the first single to be taken from Entergalactic, which will be accompanied by his animated Netflix series of the same name.

When hyping up the project earlier this year, he teased that it’s one of his favorite things he’s ever worked on. Describing it as the “greatest piece of art” he’s made and highlighted that he had a lot of fun providing voice acting for the series, which he is “sooo fuckin proud” of. The series will include a voice cast of Jessica Williams, Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla Sign, Vanessa Hudgens, Jaden Smith, Teyana Taylor, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Keith David, Arturo Castry, and Macaulay Culkin.
