Kanye West has dropped off the video for his Donda album cut “24.”
“24” charted at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was one of 23 songs that opened on the chart, out of a total of 27 songs. Donda also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
‘Ye recently shared a video for the song “Come to Life,” which included footage from his Chicago Donda listening event, with clips of the rapper’s reconstructed childhood home and of Kanye lit on fire. “24” similarly includes event footage.
Yeezy’s promotion surrounding his album has made headlines the last few weeks, with rumors abounding that him and Kim Kardashian are working on rebuilding their relationship. While it seems that Kanye recently unfollowed his estranged wife on Instagram, his influence on her is evident. At this year’s Met Gala, the social media maven nodded to Kanye’s Donda rollout by wearing an identity-obscuring, all-black look designed by Balenciaga.
