After her apparent breakup with Lil Baby, Jayda Cheaves is addressing rumors that she was texting—and romantically involved—with Bow Wow,
As Cheaves shared over an Instagram Live session on Friday, Bow Wow seemingly has nothing to do with the apparent split, and she’s wondering who originated those rumors in the first place.
“No shade to Bow Wow, but where are y’all gettin’ that from? It’s not giving that,” she said, before continuing on with her Live.
The speculation around her last relationship went into overdrive after Cheaves and Baby, who share a 3-year-old son Loyal Armani, both posted cryptic messages to Instagram last week, with Jayda writing that “everything comes to an end. Never force it. Be happy.” Meanwhile, Baby wrote, “when a MF think they can play wit me,” alongside a clip of himself on a basketball court. In a since-deleted Instagram Story, Jayda also wrote that she was being “played with” for six years.
Back in December, the entrepreneur caught up with Hollywood Unlocked, sharing that “a lot of damage” had been done on social media in relation to her romance with Baby, but that there was a chance they could “rekindle and rebuild another relationship.”
“It’s just like, when there’s so much tension, so many things have happened in the midst of all of that like, ‘He loves you,’ all of this,” Cheaves said at the time. “Like, yeah, he do love me, I’mma say, but as far as the internet, like I always say, we’re comin’ up together. He learning stuff he never even seen before about social media and all that and I’m seeing things way different than I saw them before as I get older.”
