Hustle Gang signee Jay Burna and label founder T.I. have linked up to deliver a lavish, Vision Mob-directed visual for their collab “U the Shit,” premiering above.
“As directors, Vision Mob aimed to embody the energy of the track with a visual that conveys a true and authentic lifestyle,” T.I. told Complex. “We enjoyed ourselves so much we knew it was going to be special. We were right.”
Marking the first track by the Fort Lauderdale rapper and Atlanta multi-hyphenate, Burna revealed they met at a T.I. show in Orlando. “We both thought it made the most sense to collab because we understood each other,” said Burna of his mentor turned friend. “It was a dope bond and a dope record.”
“U the Shit” arrived on Jay Burna’s EP Trophy, which also features collaborations with Zoey Dollaz and LunchMoney Lewis. He’s set to release his first album with Hustle Gang, executive produced by T.I., this year.
