Canadian video director and photographer Dragan Andic, aka The.97, has worked with just about every big name in this country, including Drake,The Weeknd,Nav,Roy Woods, Anders, and more.
From humble beginnings at Humber College, Andic took a chance opportunity to photograph Drake’s tour and never looked back from that life-changing moment.
“I believe if you’re a photographer in the music industry, touring is something I recommend because you’ll learn a lot and you don’t get those moments back,” Andic explains. “It’s a high that doesn’t die down until you get home.”
Since then, he’s photographed two Weeknd tours, which he said looked like movies. He also teaches the next generation at XO’s Hxouse, and has moved into music video directing. Watch the video above where Complex Canada caught up with Andic on the set of an upcoming visual for Killy.
