DaBaby is using his art to address his so-called “cancelation.”

During a recent stop at the Power 106 studio, the Grammy-nominated rapper delivered an impassioned, braggadocious freestyle for the L.A. Leakers. DaBaby touched on his jet set lifestyle, his family, and the backlash he received following his controversial comments at Rolling Loud Miami.

“I slap a grown-ass man in front of all of his n***as, let’s see who the bitch now, all out the window ...” he rapped over Gunna’s “Pushin P” beat (2:27). “I know we supposed to be mad at DaBaby, and that n***a canceled, but that n***a lit, and these n***a hoes. I came from the bottom, I didn’t have shit wasn’t even supposed to see this.

“…  N****s talking about DaBaby on the blogs, n***a so what? Do something, I’m pleading,” he continued (2:48). “I ain’t have to show me a n***a what’s happening in a while, trigger-finger motherfucker squeezing.”

DaBaby came under fire last summer over sexist and homophobic remarks made on the the Rolling Loud stage.

“[If] you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put a cellphone light in the air,” he told the crowd. “Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put a cellphone light in the air. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put a cellphone light in the air.”

DaBaby, who lost performance gigs and endorsement deals over the incident, went on to apologize for his “hurtful and triggering comments,” as well as his “misinformed” remarks about HIV.

“Social media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate and learn from your mistakes,” he wrote on Instagram. “As a man who has had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances, having people I know publicly working against me — knowing that what I needed was education on these topics and guidance — has been challenging.”

The L.A. Leakers freestyle went down just hours before DaBaby was filmed fighting at a bowling alley. The LAPD confirmed the altercation was between DaBaby—real name Jonathan Kirk—and Brandon Bills, the brother of DaBaby’s ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh.

Law enforcement told TMZ that DaBaby is now under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon.
