When you see an artist’s face tattoo, you know it’s them. From Lil Uzi Vert to Post Malone to even Justin Bieber, some of the most recognizable figures in pop culture have a little ink on their faces. But after revealing her potential face art, Cardi B is evidently glad she isn’t part of that club.

The rapper took to Twitter on Friday to explain she was pretty close to getting some dramatic face art back when she was a teenager.

“Everyday I’m thankful at the fact that ain’t get this face tatt I wanted when I was 16,” Cardi wrote.

Explaining what it was that she considered getting inked on her face forever, Cardi shared she was leaning toward “little stars from the top of my eyebrow swirling down to my jaw” in a follow up tweet, featuring a gif of Mel B facepalming.

With no face tats in sight, Cardi has plenty to look forward to. Just this past week, the MC announced she’s expecting her second child with Offset via a stunning Instagram post and a baby-bump reveal at the BET Awards on Sunday, when she performed “Type Shit” alongside Migos.
