Boosie Badazz hopped on social media this week to vent about the mass shooting that took place Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

The Baton Rouge rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to share his solution to these all too frequent tragedies, which he believes could be prevented if SWAT teams were on location at every school.

“6-8 Swat team snipers need to be at every school to protect our children!” he wrote. “Front door, back door n undercover snipers. Shooters will be taken down sooner if they try something! Take some of the police out the hood n put em in these schools, supermarkets, churches, etc. Shit sad.”

Boosie went on to claim that prisons have become safer than schools, writing, “They protect inmates better than our kids! Yeah, I said it.”

Boosie is just one of the many hip-hop artists who’ve taken to social media to sound off about the senseless shooting. Earlier this week, a pair of Texas rappers, Slim Thug and Trae tha Truth, jumped on Instagram to share their thoughts on the tragic situation.

While Slim Thug posted a picture of each of the 19 children who lost their lives, Trae asked his followers to connect him to the families in an effort to help pay the victims’ funeral expenses.

“Someone connect me to some of the babies who lost they life today in Texas,” Trae wrote. “Families, I would like to assist some of the funerals...This cold and weak as hell.”
